Taxonomy Browser
This is the tRNAbd taxonomy browser and the taxonomy displayed here is a subset of the
NCBI Taxonomy Database. Note that only
taxa are displayed for which there are tRNA sequences in the tRNAdb.
After each taxon name and ID, the number of sequences present in the database are annotated, i.e. "cellular organisms
(ID: 131567) mDNA:30525 nDNA:12046 nRNA:606" means that the tRNAdb contains 30525 mitochondrial tRNA
sequences, 12046 nuclear tRNA sequences and 606 nuclear tRNA structures for cellular organisms.
The ID displayed in parentheses after each entry is corresponding to the NCBI Taxonomy ID.
If you, for example, want to query the database for all sequences that belong to species which are Lepidoptera,
you can enter "Lepidoptera" in the Clade field in the search mask.
